for the longest tattoo sitting. Kemp will attempt to sit in the tattoo chair
for 48 hours and be tattooed.

GENEVA -- The City Council has approved the Randall Road corridor as the

files suit over misspelling in Cardinals tattoo
The St. Louis Cardinals are the 2006 World Series champions, but not according
to a red tattoo on the back of fan Jason Harris. The etching proclaims the
Cardinals Worlb ("b" instead of "d") Series champions in 2000, according
to Harris' lawyer. The New York Yankees won the series that year.

A HAMPSHIRE tattoo parlour has been stopped from operating by health inspectors.
They found that unless the shop was stopped carrying out work there was a
risk of spreading disease. It comes after a routine inspection at the Eye
of the Needle in Winchester.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A judge tossed out state Health Department regulations Tuesday
that required tattoo shops to have a $100,000 surety bond and banned them

a trend nationwide for years. It's recently gained popularity in our state.
With tattoos becoming legal this year, there's been some confusion between

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. - A Libertyville tattoo shop owner says his attempts to
open a second shop in Antioch have been illegally thwarted by the town, which
won't even give him an application for a business license specific to tattoo
shops.

A HARD-HITTING poster campaign warning children of the dangers of illegal
tattoos has been launched in Tameside. It is unlawful for anyone under 18
to be given a tattoo, but in recent years an increasing number of unscrupulous

So does it hurt getting a tattoo? You sit in what looks like a dentists
chair, with a bright lamp that feels like a dentists light. Even the
machines pulsating needles sound like a dentists drill. Yeah,
it hurts, said a grinning Lance McIntosh, co-owner and artist at Big
Tiki Tattoo in Emerald Coast Plaza, South Waltons only tattoo studio.

- Gov't to clean-up tattoos and body piercings business
With many of the tattoo and body piercing shops sustaining unhygienic practices
and employing untrained people, the government is aiming to put restrictions
in place that correct these variables.
Only 14 of an estimated 100 tattoo
shops in Oklahoma have gotten licenses since a law legalizing tattooing
went into effect in November... Of the 14 Legal Shops, 3 of them are TBPI
graduates and out of the 50 legally licensed body artists in OK - 11
or 20+% of
ALL legal tattooists
in OK are TBPI GRADUATES!
The state of Oklahoma has licensed more than 50 tattoo artists since the
profession was legalized in November. Many Oklahoma tattoo artists are now
learning how to protect workers and customers from blood-borne diseases.

GRADUATES are 11 of them - Thats 20% of all legal tattooists in OK - And
of the 14 Legal Shops, 3 of them are TBPI graduates as well!
